The vehicle was stolen from Trellech, Nr Monmouth, Gwent, on the night of Thursday 25 Apr '96. Restoration had almost been completed - interior door panels and carpets are missing". [Distributor:P.J. 1959 JAGUAR XK150 ROADSTER Stolen on 26 September 2007, from Forney, Texas (near Dallas).
VEHICLE ID number: S831439BW
The Jaguar was taken out of a locked and chained barn. The thieves ripped a very large metal door completely off the building to get to the XK which had been stored there for many years.
The vehicle has a white body with tan softtop, the chassis is a 150 LHD Roadster number not a 140 however 140 bits may be stuck on. It has a drum instead of disc brakes. The original XK150 was an automatic, but the chassis is a manual transmission and there is also evidence of the re-fit with the centreline hump having been reconfigured for the stick.
