I would like to confirm the arrangements for the gathering on the 17th June-
Visit to Aynho Park followed by lunch at the Great Western Arms located nearby
Aynho Park located south of Banbury is a 400-year-old landmark estate designed by British architect Sir John Soane, The building houses a stunning collection of RH England furniture, art and antiques. Some of which are for sale.
There are also gardens and a coffee shop there.
The property opens at 11. The plan is to arrive after 11. I would suggest you aim to arrive by 11: 30. You will be met by a team who will valet park your car and then you can buy a coffee if needed and have it on the terrace and then wander around the multiple rooms of the house, even if the furniture is not to your taste, some of the art etc. is amazing. There is no entrance fee. The garden and the view over the rolling English countryside is very picturesque. I have attached a couple of pictures I took of my visit there.
At 12 40 we will set off for The Great Western Arms which is about a five minutes drive away.
We should arrive around 12: 45 ready for lunch at 1pm.
