Netherlands: Spring Tour, 21 April
Gather at Fort Everdingen, part of the Dutch Water Defend Lines and Unesco World Heritage. We start with coffee and a cake and then a 30 minute tour around the Fort. Then a drive through the countryside followed by lunch at a Jaguar Specialist. Then a visit with tour at Damen Shipyards. They have 35 shipyards around the world, with their Headquarters in The Netherlands. One of their former members of the board is willing to give us a tour around the shipyard, which is very special.

UK Beds, Herts and Bucks – upcoming events
Date confirmed: April 27: The first event is a visit to Shuttleworth. The costs if we can muster at least 12 cars will be £10 per car. Normal entry is £15.00 per person. The entry fee covers both the aircraft and vehicle collections and the Swiss Garden on the day and any repeat visits within the next 30 days. This is a really good deal with hopefully some flying included.
May 12: I am keen to see if there is any interest in attending the season opening airshow entitled “The Best of British”. If tickets are booked before 1 March the ticket price is £24 per person - a saving of £11 over the standard admission. We would be provided with a dedicated area where we can park our cars in full view of the airshow and enjoy a picnic. We need a minimum of 15 people for the discount to apply. Details of the programme can be found on the Shuttleworth website.
September 21: I have provisionally booked a visit to the De Havilland Museum. We need to muster a minimum of 10 members for it to go ahead. The price is £20 per person. The plan is to meet in Hatfield at 10.30 for tea/coffee and biscuits before embarking on a two-hour guided tour. Lunch is available on site if required with departure planned for 3.00 p.m.
Please let Don know if you would like to take part.
